Turned out he was just sleeping, he's right as rain, crazy world.
Thought I'd update.

Mourning Glory.
Greetings Gentle Readers,
I have some sad news to announce.
A friend, fellow playwright and genius, Stephen Gretchky, passed away earlier today, about 4am GMT.
He was a great writer, a brilliant thinker, and most of all a close friend. You may remember his many works, including "Sir Spaniel of Dogville" and the Children's classic "My Year In Soviet Russia With Cuddles the Attack Dog"
His work, mainly animal and canine related, garnered the praise of journalists, artists, filmmakers, actors and the masses, culminating in last year's Saskatchewan Regional Theater fellowship, of which he wrote a play based on Canada's harsh climates and how dogs cope with such things, classically the dog being portrayed by Sir Timothy Kregsman, one of his last performances before retirement.
It is truly a sad day, but I am glad to say that I knew him, and even through the harder parts, his darker times, and his second life in Portugal, South America way, he was a great friend, and i was happy to be by his side in London this morning, sharing what precious time he had left.
I also caught a screening of chemotherapy, the new project by Dr. Samuel Johnson, who just happened to be in the hospital.
It was interesting to say the least.
Goodnight, Travel Well.
Ethan.
EDIT: Just learnt it was not a new gallery hidden in a hospital, and Dr. Samuel Johnson was not the same man I was thinking of, being of female gender. Such things are not unusual in the underground art movement however, and I suggest you check out the exhibit at King George, I believe it'll be there until Sunday, and it's free!

Now I Know...
Greetings Gentle Readers,
Today I was informed from a secret but very high place as to who has taken the position of MSNBC anchor in the much hyped and shocking Farce Of The Zombies, after MikeDeBoing and Christian Bale left, the DP herself, Snowfender, will become the anchor.
Not much new, another dull day.
Greetings, Travel Well.

Dienstag 2: Dienstager.
Greetings Gentle Readers,
I was looking at twitter, but it didn't accommodate the kinds of people I care about, just the nouveau-riche celebs of the moment, who cares what the weather is like near David Lynch's house, or what Ashton Kutcher is thinking when he's looking at Mrs. Willis?
So that idea is out, sorry fellow fans.
So, the news of Farce is getting a lot of chatter, hope Ben manages to get the film known as something that's not just Bale's cuntish attitudes.
Well, nothing much to report, Ethan out.

Inside Dying, Outside Signing Contracts
Great news Gentle Readers,
The final performance in Hamburg of Inside Dying, Outside Crying was recorded as a memory of the times, and Boll KG has expressed interest in releasing it worldwide, with Uwe's personal seal of approval, he always makes such great films I can't imagine how great his editing will be to the play.
Look out for it soon,
Goodnight, Travel Well,
Ethan.

Another Day Another Deutschmark
Hello gentle readers,
As always I figured when there's nothing to do, to hit the ol' blogsphere and inform people of what's not occurring.
I hear on the wire from BASkit that Benjamin Tuttle has made a formal statement to the press about last week's incident, and it seems to be a big hit on hayoo and froogle searches.
"Hey there, it's Ben, I thought you'd like to put this on your blog before the word gets out and looks bad.
Last week an incident occurred between a cast member and some of the cast and crew on the set of FotZ, and yes it got rather heated before it was over, but fortunately the actor has been reimbursed, and a replacement found, with no bad blood whatsoever.
I'm really proud of the professionalism at the Studio and on set by everyone, no one making mean jokes or saying salty things, and fortunately the film can almost go ahead full steam, just need to finish re-making some sets hit by last week's blaze. A majority of the footage was safe, a few B-rolls and 2nd Unit stuff, coverage mostly, was lost, and we can easily re-shoot that days before the premiere, so it's not even close to a big rush.
Really looking forward to completing this film and watching it go out in the World alone, without stabilizers.
Talk soon, Ben."
One hopes this means he's confident and knowledgeable of everything, and not just trying to hide things under the rug.
I checked out a new site today, www.twitter.com, might set up an account soon, do nothing with hourly updates, funness.

A Samstag To Remember
Greetings gentle reader.
It is now zwanzig nach neun, 21:20 for the uninitiated of the wonderful German language, sadly not as universal as the lesser English language.
This is feeling like twitter now, not so much stories to say, just general updates of news and nothingness.
Fortunately in the whirlwind of issues on a certain filmset over the past week, I just spent a day not having anything go wrong. Just me, the sun, a bed and my iTunes playlist. And Final Draft open, blinking it's cursor at me telling me to write, but I'm not feeling it. Whilst I love what I'm doing with my friend TFoster, the Batman script isn't going anywhere at this moment, I just don't feel I can get my eyes into it's ideas, maybe it's the lack of traveling, maybe it's the distressing nature of the stage production, but we'll see, a German summer is coming and it will be inspiring and creative.
Will talk more about things tomorrow, until then,
Goodnight, Travel Well.

I Am The God Of Hell Fire!
Greetings once more gentle reader.
The classic song Fire from The Cray World of Arthur Brown says everything.
My friend from BASkit kindly woke me up at 11am this morning after a long sleep, post-podcast, blog and after after after-show wrap party with the horrible news that a blaze hit the Farce of the Zombies set, already riddled with issues, production halted and now some footage may be completely destroyed.
Also, my Weekly Runt special has appeared on youtube, take a peek here.

Tremblings on Farce of the Zombies set
Jerry LaCosta, a good friend and my main man inside BASkit Studios has just rang me up, amidst the celebrating of the wrap party, champagne and naked people everywhere, to tell me that something has happened on the set of Ben Tuttle's latest masterwork, Farce Of The Zombies.
It seems an actor in a small role has lashed out at some of the cast and crew before shooting a scene, leading to some seriously bad mojo on the set, they had booked out an MSNBC studio between 12:30 and 5:30, the major news shows are shot live before and after so it's the only time they had, it is a busy schedule, many set changes and lots of coverage, which Mr. Tuttle, as always, insists e shoots himself, rather than let a second unit miss the style of the piece, and understandable and unavoidable proposal fro anyone who's ever made a film with a couple of Euros at best.
Whilst we're unsure just what has happened, details will soon emerge, Jerry has stated he will continually update me through the night, will post when I know more, gentle readers.
Goodnight, Travel Well, and hope everyone who saw it enjoyed the production.
Ethan.
Update:
The audio was leaked to a local news provider, it's here.

Welcome, Gentle Reader
Guten Tag readers of this blog.
I am Ethan Runt, a documentarian, thespian, director from Hamburg, Germany, Deautschland to my German homebois, as they say in the south and central of the city of Angles.
Right now I am currently preparing for my curtain call tonight, approximately 9:30 pm GMT, so 10:30 here in my home town, we've been performing for just over a month, a two week run became larger than expected, with ticket sales through the roof of the two man show. Gregory, my friend, co-writer, co-director and co-star, has said it's been the best time of his life, of course he said the same thing about the honeymoon two wives ago, so I'm not sure how to take it, but he seems contented with theatre for now, no more women to consider, my life to a T.
Some of you might remember I released a documentary on the Torrechiara Studios film Sitting On Top Of The World a while back, well, David Attel from Human Resources sent me this e-mail upon finding the film online:
"Dear Mr. Runt,
We at Torrechiara Studios expressed a great interest in you making a making-of for the DVD of SOTOW, however whilst we were willing for you to say certain things in the doc, we've been very liberal for a film studio, we asked for the removal of the drugs trafficking claims near the end these are simply not true. Mr. Bricoli denied the comments after a stint in rehab, and we have no evidence that such practices have occurred, neither do you.
Please take this documentary down from the internet, it is a copyright violation, and re-edit it to a suitable standard for the DVD.
With regards,
David Attel,
Human Resources, Torrechiara Studios."
They claim I am lying, this is simply not true readers, For years I have made documentaries exposing the truth, who else revealed how the Titanic really sank, what JFK was doing the morning of his shooting, or even why Jesus would not have been able to be held up by a square based cross of wood.
My documentary.
Watch the documentary in support of free speech, and post the comment "I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" thank you fellow humans.
With respect to Torrechiara, the studio has been helping me for the most part, hoping, obviously, for a more biased slant on the documentary, I'm currently working with BASkit Studios to get more movie news to you instantly, be it with this blog, or my video podcast, Weekly Runt.
Look out for it over time.
For now I return to chilling out, and awaiting a well deserved holiday for Easter, to celebrate Jesus' embarrassment in front of the Jewish people of falling off a poorly constructed cross with no support for human weight whatsoever.
Goodnight, Travel Well.
Ethan.
